E. Wayne Shuffield was born on November 22, 1963 in Austin, Texas. He was admitted to State of Texas bar in 1989 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Western and Southern Districts of Texas.



Wayne began his preparatory education at Southwestern University (B.S.S., Political Science, 1986) and his legal education at St. Mary's School of Law (J.D., with distinction, 1989). He was Senior Associate Editor at St. Mary's Law Journal and joined in the fraternity Phi Delta Phi and was a member of The John M. Harlan Society.



Wayne is an AV-Preeminent Attorney rated by Martindale-Hubble and is named one of San Antonio's Best Lawyers by Scene in SA magazine (2008-2012). His primary practice areas are workers' compensation and insurance defense.
