Taylor was born in Fort Worth and raised in both Nagoya, Japan, and Fort Worth. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. Prior to and during law school, he spent seven years as a varsity football assistant coach. After graduating from Texas A&M University School of Law, he became in-house counsel for an oil and gas brokerage firm in Fort Worth. He also previously worked as an associate attorney in a Dallas-based law firm's Mass Torts division before joining RPM.
