A native of San Antonio, Mr. Chaires is a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School ('11) and the University of the Incarnate Word ('15), where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with minors in Criminal Justice and Philosophy. Thereafter, Mr. Chaires attended St. Mary's University School of Law, where he was a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice and a Student Attorney for St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice. In 2018, Mr. Chaires graduated law school and passed the Texas Bar Exam.

Mr. Chaires is a recipient of the Bexar Country Felony Drug Court's Lady Justice Award for his exceptional volunteer work and commitment to helping those with severe substance abuse issues.
