Meet Laura Rua, our newest Associate Attorney! We're delighted to have her join our team.

Laura earned her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin and is a 2025 law graduate from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Laura competed as a member of the National Moot Court team, served on The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race & Social Justice as a staff writer and comments editor, and was the vice president of the Lawtina Network where she helped organize the third annual Lawtina Network Summit to bring Latinx members of the legal community for a day of networking and empowerment.

When she is not working, Laura loves cooking, traveling, Latin dancing, and attending concerts. Laura is thrilled to join Ray | Peña | McChristian because it allows her to tackle complex legal disputes and make a meaningful impact for clients.
